Sleepy Girl

I always check on the kids before I go to bed. I often find Madison all over her bed. She often gets out of bed to see if I am at her door or anywhere near. As far as I can guess, on this particular night she tired of watching for me and decided to finally go back to bed. She must have been REALLY tired! This is how I found her.

Can you believe Madison has had another birthday? I certainly cannot! The days and years seem to go by faster and faster!

Easter Eggs

I love to dye Easter eggs. I love the colors. This is the first year that the kids have really enjoyed it.

As we waited on the eggs, I snapped a few pics of the kids. This one is my favorite. It is one of the best pictures we've taken of Carson lately.

She's starting young.

After bath time tonight, I asked Madison how old she was. Instead of her normal "TWO!" response (keep in mind that she is not quite 2), she responded by patting her chest and gave an emphatic "FIVE!" which Carson thought was hysterical. Where do they come up with these things? :)

New Bookcase

This is the bookcase that John built for me. He finished it last night. I LOVE it! He did such a good job. It was originally intended for the office. Because of where the office is located in the house, we could not get the massive thing into the room. So, it is now in the living room nicely filling up a large void. This thing is so big. It is about 6 1/2 ft tall and close to 4 ft wide.
